Training is a key part of the fire safety strategy for any premises and it is essential that staff are fully conversant with the fire safety precautions within the premises.

As a fully qualified adult teacher and with many years of experience in the Fire Service Colin is ideally placed to offer appropriate training to all sectors.

We generally only have students from a single business on a course, as I find this is much more appropriate and students respond better when the training they are receiving is directly aimed at their place of work. After all, why train somebody who might work in a residential care home on the fire precautions required in a paper mill!!

We generally carry out the courses on the client's own premises which helps in keeping the costs down and will happily do the course to suit the client's needs whether that be during the day, evenings or at the weekend. All training is carried out to fit in with yourself and whilst there is a basic course outline, each course is individually designed to reflect the actual working environment.

The main courses we offer are:

• Fire Warden Training - duration 2.5 hours
• Fire Awareness Training - duration 1 hour
